Carowinds is a great theme park that has attractions for all ages! For toddlers, there is a section for small children that includes new rides in the Snoopy area! You can also find toddler friendly attractions in the waterpark.
One of the many great things Charlotte is known for is it’s sports teams! Share a pretzel or nachos with your little one at a local sporting event! You can find the Panthers playing football at Bank of America Stadium, go to a Knights baseball game uptown, watch the Hornets dunk at Spectrum Center, or catch a Checkers hockey game! Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden is located in Belmont, NC, just half an hour from uptown Charlotte. This is a beautiful escape from the city if you are looking for a quiet place for your toddler to explore the outdoors. The gardens are beautiful and even feature a children’s garden with plenty of space for the kids to play! Chuck E. Cheese’s is the perfect option when you are looking for a place to eat but know your toddler has too much energy to sit still.
